Project: Morland House, Cumbria

Morland House is a large manor house in Cumbria’s Eden Valley on the edge of the Lake District sleeping up to 19 adults in 9 bedrooms.

About the project

The house dates back originally to the 1500s. For almost 200 years, it has been owned by the same family. The house retains many links to the interesting lives of the family members, including paintings and possessions. The property had a previous website, but this was not particularly well-optimised for search engines and was not mobile-friendly. These issues were resolved in the new site. A range of photographs was used in slideshows and photo galleries to feature the dramatic character of the house.
